The History of our School:

Abundant Life Christian Centre began in 1977 with eleven people under the leadership of Bishop W. W. Thomas and his wife, Sister Edith Thomas. Since that time the congregation has experienced continuous growth and is now one of the larger independent churches in South Florida. Under the leadership of Bishop Rick Thomas, the church reaches out through a variety of ministries that include foreign and home missions, church planting, television, internet, music, singles, youth, and children, as well as community efforts.

With the theme "Reaching Our World with Life," it is only natural that a Christian school be part of the Centre. The vision of the Academy was birthed in 1990 with preschool through third grade, enrolling seventy students. Today, the Academy has grown to serve more than four hundred students annually from 2 year olds through 8th grade.
